Licensing & renewals
Microsoft and Kaspersky subscriptions come with commitment terms and renewal rules. Here is how they work, and how we manage them for you.
Microsoft subscription terms
Microsoft cloud subscriptions are bought for a commitment term. The term you choose affects price and flexibility.
Microsoft sets these rules and may change them. Your quote always states the term, billing frequency and renewal date.
Our renewal process
We contact you ahead of every renewal date with a summary of what is renewing.
Together we check active users so you only renew what you need.
If a different plan fits better — for security or Copilot — we explain the options.
Your services continue without interruption, and you receive a clear invoice.
Policy
How orders, renewals, cancellations and refunds work with Excel Anbieter. Your written quote confirms the exact terms for each order.
Microsoft cloud subscriptions are sold under Microsoft’s New Commerce Experience with monthly, annual or, for selected products, three-year terms. The term, billing frequency and renewal date are stated on every quote.
Monthly terms cost about 20% more than the same product on an annual term. Annual terms can be paid upfront or monthly where Microsoft allows; paying monthly does not shorten the 12-month commitment.
A new subscription, a renewal or newly added licences can be cancelled or reduced within 7 days (168 hours) for a prorated credit or refund of the unused days. After 7 days the commitment runs to the end of its term.
Licences can be added at any time and are charged pro rata to the end of the current term. Monthly terms can be reduced at the next monthly renewal; annual and three-year terms can be reduced at renewal.
You can upgrade to a higher plan during the term. Downgrades take effect at renewal.
Subscriptions renew automatically on the same terms so your services are never interrupted. We remind you at least 30 days before annual renewals; tell us before the renewal date to change quantities, change term or switch off auto-renewal.
Your price is fixed for the term. Renewals are charged at the price in effect on the renewal date, as published by Microsoft.
Invoices are issued in US dollars. GST / sales tax and withholding tax apply as per law and are shown separately. New subscriptions are activated once payment is confirmed, unless credit terms are agreed in writing.
Kaspersky business licences are sold for fixed terms (typically 1, 2 or 3 years) and are non-refundable once activated. Renew before expiry to avoid a gap in protection; the number of devices can be changed at renewal.
Dell Technologies and HP hardware carries the manufacturer’s warranty, which we help you claim. Dead-on-arrival items must be reported within 7 days of delivery; configured or opened items are not returnable except under warranty.
Most Microsoft cloud subscriptions are set to renew automatically at the end of their term so your service is never interrupted. We contact you before each renewal so you can change quantities or plans first.
Microsoft allows cancellation within 7 days (168 hours) of purchase or renewal, with a prorated refund of the unused days. After that, the commitment runs to the end of the term. Ask us before you buy if you are unsure about quantities — we will help you choose the right term.
Yes. Additional licences can be added at any time and are billed for the remainder of the current term.
Kaspersky business licences are sold for a fixed period. Renewing before the expiry date keeps protection running without a gap; we remind you in advance and can adjust the number of devices.
All prices are quoted in US dollars (USD). GST / sales tax on services and withholding tax are not included and apply as per law.
